The container throughput of the imported meat in Tianjin Port has been ranking the first place for six consecutive years with the 1.36 million tons in 2017. 

As the economic center in northern China, Tianjin has the convenient national railway and highway network, the major cities are easily to reach with 30 minutes high-speed train from Beijing to Tianjin, 5 hours from Shanghai to Tianjin (2 hours flight) and 4.5 hours from Dalian to Tianjin.

From the perspective of economic globalization and the development trend of China “New Era”, meat and food industry in China is facing new challenges well as opportunities, it needs to continuously enhance the own strength, simultaneously, the international competitiveness and brand conscious are also required to be strengthened to enable global meat and food industry comprehensively understand the current situations and future development prospects  of Chinese meat industry.

Strong purchase demand with a large number of professional purchasers


The IMFIEE will invite Chinese enterprises engaged in meat and food industry across the country to gather to do business. Merchants and associations from other countries will also be invited to the Expo. It's estimated that 30,000 guests, exhibitors and visitors from 20 countries and regions, 10,000 professional purchasers are expected to participate the expo.

Supporting activities such as supply-demand match meetings, seminars, handshake programs and product releases will be held during the Expo.
